About Austin County Farm Bureau Austin County Farm Bureau's mission is to be the state's most effective membership organization committed to the advancement of agriculture and prosperity for rural Texas; and, to provide our members with a wide range of involvement programs, cost-effective services, and an attractive benefit package. Austin County Farm Bureau (ACFB) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, voluntary organization of farm and ranch families and friends of agriculture united in promotion of agriculture. Austin County Farm Bureau is in District 11 of the Texas Farm Bureau. Texas Farm Bureau Farm Bureau is an independent organization of farm and ranch families who have joined to solve problems through united action. The Farm Bureau is totally controlled by its members through majority decision and is financed through voluntary dues. The Texas Farm Bureau has more than 390,000 member families in 207 organized counties. It is affiliated with the American Farm Bureau Federation, which has a membership in excess of 5 million member families in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Policies that guide the organization originate at the grassroots level with each member given an opportunity to participate.
