Meet our Board of Directors

Dickie Hargis – President
Dickie Hargis has served on the Sabine County Farm Bureau board of directors for 14 years and also serves as a Young Farmer and Rancher chairman. He is a lifelong resident of Sabine County, raising hay and cattle.






Eric Procella
– Vice President
Eric Procella has served on the Sabine County Farm Bureau board of directors for seven years. He is a lifelong resident of Sabine County and raises timber and cattle.

 

David Eddings – Secretary-Treasurer
David Eddings has served on the Sabine County Farm Bureau board of directors for 10 years. He is a lifelong resident of Sabine County and is involved in commercial hay production. David graduated from Hemphill High School and then attended Stephen F. Austin State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. He then furthered his education by acquiring an Associate's Degree in Welding. David's profession is teaching Agricultural Science at Hemphill High School and teaching Welding for junior colleges in the surrounding areas. He is very active with the youth of Sabine County, being an advisor on the Sabine County Youth Foundation board, serving on the Young Farmer and Rancher Committee and belonging to VATAT.



Vance Hargrove – Board Member
Vance Hargrove has served on the Sabine County Farm Bureau board of directors for 36 years. He has been a productive cattle rancher for more than 40 years and supports agriculture in the local area. Vance is active in many organizations pertaining to agriculture outside Farm Bureau. He also gives his time to the Annual Sabine County Agriculture Field Day for local fourth grade classes and to the Sabine County Youth in Agriculture Foundation livestock programs. Vance has lived in Sabine County for more than 40 years.




Randy Smith
– Board Member
Randy Smith has served on the Sabine County Farm Bureau board of directors for two years. He is a lifelong resident of Sabine County and is a past poultry producer and now raises cattle. Randy is involved with the local youth in the Sabine County Youth in Agriculture Foundation livestock program. He is also a teacher at Hemphill High School.
